Currently completing a fellowship in Addiction Medicine, he is passionate about community service and charity work.

Hafiz Shahid Iqbal is a respected community leader in Sydney, known for his dedication to the Pakistani-Australian community and his contributions to religious and social services. A former President of the Pakistan Australian Association, he currently serves as the President of TDC Sydney, playing a vital role in fostering cultural ties and supporting the broader community.

Mr. Bacha Rahman

Mr B Rahman is currently a Chemistry teacher with the NSW Department of Education for the past 22 years. He also serves as the Secretary General of Al Falah Association, a Pashtun-driven community organisation committed to strengthening cultural ties. His passion lies in making a meaningful impact on people’s lives, whether through education, or initiatives that promote well-being.

Mohammad Yousaf is a dedicated community person and business professional with a strong passion for supporting charity work and making a positive impact in the community. Since 1989 in Sydney, he has been actively involved in various cultural and community events in Australia.

I recently retired from Australia Public Service (Australian Taxation Office) as an IT professional. I have keen interest in the social welfare / volunteer activities which can have an impact on the lives of people especially in Pakistan. Previously involved in the fundraising activities for different organisations either for natural disasters, social welfare or any other cause. Currently I am also working for ACT Urdu school as a volunteer. The school caters for the needs of young children and adults. If I can make difference to the life of others that will be a satisfying moment in my life.

Ms. Areej is a social media coordinator for TDC Australia, managing the website, social media, and donor relations. She provides key support for Diabetes Awareness and fundraising events by handling marketing materials, livestreaming and guests management. She also manages communications, responds to inquiries, and coordinates invitations to ensure the success of TDC Australia’s initiatives.
